Klunkaz is a creative side project I worked on for an acquaintance in between my Designlab Foundations Course and starting my Designlab UX Academy Course. At the time of the project the start up was in the process of looking for investment.
Background:
The scope of the project was to design a basic website mockup for a bicycle insurance start up based in Kenya. The pages needed for the mockup were stipulated by the client and the logo was provided.

Plan
For this project there was not much to be done in terms of research as the client told me what they wanted the mock up of the site to do and what user flows they wanted me to show in the prototype.
For my planning I brainstormed basic designs of the webpages that were needed and created a vectorised version of the logo that they had provided as an image and created the colour palette for the website based on the logo they provided. I then went straight into the high fidelity wireframing, creating the pages requested by the client.

Conclusion and Next Steps
The client was happy with the mockups provided and is currently working on sourcing funding to take the next steps toward launching the company.
With the knowledge I have gained during my Designlab UX Academy Course I can definitely see the value in creating wireframes, User Flows and Task flows before diving into High fidelity wireframing and would at the very least do some rough sketch versions of these before going to High fidelity wireframing when I get the chance to tackle a project with such a fast turn around again.
